| We have succeeded in giving our clients the privacy they were seeking for this third floor balcony accessed from their bedroom. Neighbours are screened out with bamboo and strategic exotic planting in contemporary zinc cubes, towers and tanks. The plants are all linked to an automatic irrigation system so other than occasional feeding this is very low maintenance. The balustrade is slatted red cedar which was fixed over the existing ugly iron horizontal bars and now perfectly compliments the new stunning ipe South American hardwood decking. The pictures on the right show how we can make a previously unused balcony into another room and for a relatively small cost. This balcony now gets used at every available opportunity.
